Shift: 7 am - 7 pm, rotating weekends
The main objective of the Utility Associate position is to maintain cleanliness and sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and equipment parts promptly. This position is also responsible for putting away deliveries promptly.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities -
Essential Functions Utility
- Report to work on time, clean, and appropriately dressed in required attire (HHS-issued uniform coat, black pants, and black non-slip shoes - hair net and beard net as appropriate).
- Ensure the general order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom, including sweeping and mopping.
- Follow proper procedures when putting away deliveries, labeling and dating products, and breaking down boxes.
- Keep all towels and soap dispensers clean and stocked throughout the shift.
- Transport ice from the ice machine to the front end (drink counter) and to the salad counter as needed.
- Maintain temperature log using T-sticks or recommended thermometer.
- Other tasks as assigned by a Kitchen Supervisor or the management team.
