Frulact will be opening it’s first plant in the United States, located in Logan, Utah. Plant production will begin September 2024.

The Procurement Specialist will strive to:
- Play a key role in developing and managing sourcing in North America, in a business centric and transparent way that enhances profitability and sustainable growth
- Implement Procurement model (Practices & Processes) towards operational excellence.
- Be a permanent sourcing innovation hunter
- Contribute actively for the working capital optimization of Frulact
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:
- Working in tandem with the Global Head of Procurement on managing and monitoring all transactional procurement including tendering processes, negotiation, evaluation, contract management, legal considerations/payment conditions, supplier performance evaluation and risk assessment.
- Coordinating with Head of RDI to ensure timely preparation of procurement plans of new raw materials for NPD, matching the availability of raw materials (namely fruits and its specifications) and the customer requirements
- Linking with business developers to have accurate information from the customers to update rolling forecasts, needed to evaluate contract coverage of raw materials
- Promoting constant benchmarking within various sourcing options in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, economics or a related field
- Minimum experience of 1-3 years in food manufacturing preferably in FruitPrep
- Strong capabilities in strategic vision, negotiation skills, and analytical capabilities
- Good team player and collaborative mindset
Schedule:
This position will be remote until the opening of the Logan, UT plant, after which the role will turn hybrid. A schedule will be determined between the candidate and the manager.
