We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, patient service, and aseptic technique.
Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all information
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of medications to patients
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service
- Use medical terminology accurately and effectively
- Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
- Operate pharmacy equipment including infusion pumps, IV hoods, and automated dispensing cabinets
- Perform aseptic technique when preparing sterile products
