Overview:
Join our team as a Structural Engineer and contribute to the design and analysis of residential and commercial structures. Utilize your expertise in structural analysis, wood, and concrete to ensure compliance with building codes and streamline the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop detailed plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate structural requirements into blueprints and MEP designs.
- Provide forensic analysis and expert witness testimony when needed.
- Support project management efforts by overseeing construction progress and addressing structural concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
- PE or EIT certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wood and concrete structural design.
- Familiarity with building codes and construction processes.
