Job Description:
The Residential Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of our residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to quality control, effective communication with team members, and diligent management of project logs and reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control walks on every project weekly.

Perform quality walks with each superintendent weekly, focusing on foundation checks, frame checks, pre-rough-in walkthroughs, and other key areas.

Review & track job log entries daily.

Review CompanyCam construction photos daily to ensure accurate documentation.
Prepare & Lead Production Meetings

Prepare for the weekly production meeting by reviewing project milestones, upcoming orders, and the task manager.

Lead weekly production meetings with construction team, ensuring an organized agenda.

Be a part of the company's Leadership Team.

Participate in weekly Leadership Team meetings

Track construction milestones and share progress.

Follow up on any necessary orders.

Notify the team if selections or other actions are required.

Update the Daily Log Metric to keep track of project progress and issues.

Review reports on specs, selections, schedules, to-dos, and warranty items to ensure all aspects of each project are on track and documented.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in residential (or commercial) construction.

Strong understanding of construction procedures, methods, materials, and project management principles.

Passionate about optimizing workflows and driving continuous process improvement

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and construction management software.

Strong communication and team management abilities.

High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
