Responsibilities and Duties
Job Duties:
- Answers phones and directs calls to proper departments.
- Takes all guest registrations including those for group room blocks.
- Accommodates special requests by guests and managers whenever possible
- Adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department with both hotel room and extended stay rooms.
- Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary
- Knows cancellation procedures
- Process guest check-outs• Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange, follows procedures for audits and cash drops.
- Reports all maintenance requests to the appropriate departments.
- Knows all safety and emergency procedures Is aware of accident prevention policies
- Maintains and complete daily cleaning checklists for each individual shift.
- Completes all checkouts with appropriate management.
- Cross-trains with events and housekeeping departments.
- Assists on event days with tasks assigned by managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Required education:• High school or equivalent
Required experience:• Hospitality: 1 year

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. As we are an event venue with private events and entertainment, at times the environment can be loud. The venue is open 24/7, therefore you must be available for various shifts.
