Summary/Objective
The maintenance technician is responsible for job completions in a wide array of areas; installations, troubleshooting, repair, safety, maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty maintenance; performs mission oriented task as assigned.
Job Description/Responsibilities (include but not limited too)
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections of premises, and equipment.
- Handle basic and at times extensive repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee contractors providing professional tasks
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Replace light bulbs, ballast, and troubleshoot.
- Inspect heating and cooling systems.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Connect, log-in, and install new equipment and furniture
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Performs routine maintenance on building, parking lot, interior and exterior (example: signage, pressure washing, painting, etc.
- Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
- Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations and takes appropriate action to ensure safety.
- Setup various meeting areas
- Assist with company vehicles
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
- Assist with company security and safety
