Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AMS Database Administrator\Webmaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our association management system (iMIS) and all aspects of our website including technical infrastructure, upkeep and troubleshooting. We are a professional association of 15,000 members and 20 staff.
Duties:
· Administers and supports the association management software (AMS) with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security (iMIS EMS (cloud), including RISE).
· Configures and customizes the AMS to meet specific needs, including settings, fields, workflows, automations, analysis, reports, queries, dashboards, and other visualizations.
· Administers e-business functions between the AMS and the website, including supporting the integration of AGA’s technology platforms:
· Email Marketing: Constant Contact
· Learning Management System: LearnUpon
· Application & Review Software: OpenWater
· Onsite Badge and Lead Retrieval: American Tradeshow Services
· Virtual Events: Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Zoom Webinar, Digitell
· SSO: from iMIS platforms above to website (Kentico)
· Troubleshoots and corrects issues as they arise.
· Understands and analyzes business needs and abilities to enhance the AMS system’s efficiency and usage.
· Ensures accuracy and integrity of data by performing thorough audits, validations, and regular data checks and updates and fills in gaps for data hygiene and maintenance.
· Manages all aspects of the association's website, including technical infrastructure, upkeep, troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
· Manages the maintenance and accuracy of website content. Writes, edits, codes, and publishes website content. Develops and designs pages.
· Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Java, PHP, XML, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
· Administers e-business functions between the website and AMS, including supporting the integration of AGA’s technology platforms. See details above under Database Administration.
· Works with staff to identify user needs and develop processes for increased productivity and increased user experience. Maintain and enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
· Monitors industry standards and techniques to recommend changes to ensure effective use of the website to achieve the association’s goals.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
· 5+ years’ Microsoft SQL server administration experience.
· 3+ years’ experience managing iMIS or a similar AMS (Association Management System) and administration of MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
· Working knowledge of relational databases and advance knowledge/programming experience with SQL and Crystal Reports and Access; experience with SQL Reporting Services is highly desirable.
· Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including: ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
· Languages: VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML.
· Minimum 2-3 years in backend software design in SQL Server, Stored procedures, ASP.NET, VB.NET.
· Experience developing websites using a Content Management System (CMS).
· Knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, troubleshooting and support.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to perform tasks effectively with little supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
