YOUR OPPURTUNITY
As the Junior Accountant, you will play a key role within the Finance group and work with Financial staff, and report to the Senior Accountant.
Requirements
- Education Level: Minimal Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet aggressive deadlines
- Preferred: 1-2 years accounting experience
- Professional Communication skills
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Proficient in Excel
Responsibilities
- Analyze import documentation against receivers and verify landed costs for inventory purchases.
- Match invoice pricing against purchase order documents and investigate pricing discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly Cash Flow reports.
- Enter invoice data relative to AP transaction or inventory receiving’s.
- Correspond with vendors via email/telephone to resolve pricing issues, reconcile vendor accounts, etc.
- Cut checks for the weekly check run and compile supporting invoices for review.
- Prepare a cash disbursements summary.
- Set up wires in bank weekly and on an as need basis.
- Prepare daily cash reports based upon operating bank account activity.
- Reconcile all bank accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare the monthly expense accruals.
- Maintain AP subsidiary ledger.
- Post daily cash receipts.
- Record bank deposits.
- Manage common ownership properties.
