The Distribution Team Lead role is responsible for the oversight and coordination of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with regulations, and the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Team Lead will oversee a team, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders. This role includes, but is not limited to, coaching, training, routine meetings, and reporting.
What you'll be doing

Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory management.

Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and workflows.

Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Maintain compliance with company policies, FDA 820, and Part 11 regulations.

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the warehouse.

Help ensure that the team has a positive mindset and patient focused culture.

Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
what you bring to the table

High school diploma required, and 6 years related experience in a warehouse distribution setting, with at least 2 years demonstrated experience in managing a team and overseeing warehouse activities

Advanced knowledge of logistics and distribution software tools, including SAP and shipping software.

Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.

Familiarity with FDA 820 and Part 11 regulations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
