The Role
The Sales Director role at SuperAwesome requires a driven, talented, experienced and motivated sales professional to execute in a key youth category with expectations for considerable growth YOY. The Sales Manager will be responsible for revenue growth across key retail and growth accounts in the US.
This will require building and broadening relationships with kid focused brands and agencies, executing on targets and key performance indicators, and exhibiting SuperAwesome core performance principals daily.
The Sales Director is responsible for prospecting, penetrating and growing key customers across various growth industries. As the owner of some of our most strategic emerging customer relationships, you’ll work to provide outstanding service that results in consistent growth from key customers.
Sales Directors are involved in driving the overarching strategy for their accounts across the wider SuperAwesome business. Coordinating the efforts of multiple internal teams including product, pre-sales, post-sales, marketing and insights.
The Sales Director will quarterback their business and be involved in the sales process end to end to deliver the highest level of creativity and customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities

Drive new relationships and manage existing relationships with major brands and their agencies.
- Drive exceptional sales growth by exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Help design, build and implement world class custom programs for clients across various growth industries.
- Work as a team alongside pre-sales and post-sales to deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Grow our reputation as the kids experts- communicating the latest trends and behaviors in the kids market with key clients.
- Be a kids expert. Have a deep understanding of all aspects of the youth market, including industry regulations, insights, competitive intelligence and campaign performance.
- Manage your CRM process flow, grow a strong pipeline of opportunities and
contacts.
- Act as SuperAwesome’s representative in the industry by developing your own expertise across verticals, understanding our competitive advantage and delivering thought leadership at industry events.
Required Experience

You have the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- You are self-motivated with a bias toward action; you won’t be afraid to step in when needed.
- Ability to build and maintain long lasting client relationships and ensure client retention leading to increased revenue growth.
- Ability to lead proposal and pricing negotiations.
- You have experience working in a highly cross functional, global organization and influencing key stakeholders to ensure that your customers' needs are represented across the business.
Our benefits:

Salary range for New York - $100k to $140k, total comp potential of $250k+
- Salary range for LA - $100k to $140k, total comp potential of $250k+
- Salary range for Chicago - $95k to $130k, total comp potential of $230k+
- 20 days holiday + 10 public holidays + Winter Break.
- Family Leave including 20 weeks of fully paid leave for employees who are Primary Caregivers and 8 weeks of fully paid leave for employees who are Secondary Caregivers.
