Summary/objective:
Journeyman Site Foreman possess the knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and/or plumbing and drainage systems. Installation and service these systems in residential and commercial settings. Understanding of the various components of each system and testing electrical circuits that supply power to the various systems. Site Foreman work alongside and manage their crew to see the designated project to completion.
Essential functions and Responsibilities:

· Has completed 42 months (about 3 and a half years) of an accredited apprentice program
· Supervise and train tradespeople, apprentices and pre-apprentices
· Report progress to Project Manager
· Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
· Basic sheet metal fabrication/installation knowledge
· Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
· Self-starter and customer focused
· Ordering and maintaining equipment
· Understanding and installation of HVAC and/or Plumbing equipment to meet mechanical codes
· Inspect and test HVAC and/or Plumbing systems to ensure safety compliance.
· Supervise use of machinery and equipment
· Interpret blueprints, diagrams and spec sheets related to system structure.
· Replace any defective mechanical parts that deteriorate or malfunction.
· Efficient, organized, and can prioritize work.
· Attention to detail, problem solver, and analytical thinker.
· Ability to work as a team and exercise sound judgement.
· Personable, positive, helpful with excellent communication skills.
· Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
· Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
· Punctual
Physical demands:
· Able to lift at least 50lbs on a regular basis.
· Must be able to operate a vehicle using a seat belt safely and legally
· Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
· Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction
· Must be able to perform work over head
· Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours
· This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (may occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs. with special approval.)
· Must be able to safely use a ladder
· Must be able to maneuver access areas, as small as 30” vertical x 45” horizontal
· Must be able to access rooftops comfortably and routinely with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, and occasionally, up to 50 feet +
· This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location
· Willing to submit to drug/alcohol testing at any time, with reasonable suspicion, while clocked into work
Work Hours:
Commercial – 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday (Or directed by PM)
Residential – 6:00am to 4:40pm Monday to Thursday (Or directed by PM)
*End of the day can/will change depending on season and job.
*Workdays can/will change depending on season and job.
Travel required:
Travel is required and a company vehicle will be provided.
