Associate Teacher
First Grade (Math Support)
Trinity School is currently accepting applications for a First Grade Associate Teacher (Math Support) for the 2024-2025 academic school year.

Position Overview
Associate Teachers at Trinity School are inquisitive, nurturing, fun-loving, flexible, and creative. They model lifelong learning for their colleagues and students. They involve themselves in areas of the school beyond their classroom walls. The Associate Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in fulfilling all of his/her responsibilities in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the School.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a specific subject area
Georgia State Teaching Certificate/License or equivalent from another state (preferred)
Essential Requirements, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Assists in the implementation of the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher
Works with students in whole groups, one-on-one, and in small groups
Models appropriate behavior for students
Understands and supports developmental benchmarks academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally
Uses technology instructionally, with an understanding of Apple products, interactive whiteboards, Google docs, and Microsoft products; understands responsible digital citizenship
Collaborates with colleagues and staff to support the school community
Communicates proficiently in oral and written forms
Participates in associated duties such as carpool, lunch, and recess
Takes initiative to fulfill typical teacher responsibilities and demonstrate willingness to problem solve atypical situations
Other duties as assigned
