School Nutrition Services Workers needed to prepare and serve food items to students and school personnel, as well as maintaining food service facilities in safe, sanitary conditions. These are long-term, part-time, and substitute positions with flexible hours and the potential for full-time. (Will be working 5.5 to 6 hours per day.)

Duties include:
- Assists in the preparation of food according to a planned menu and tested, uniform recipes.
- Serving food and beverage items on a serving line.
- Operates a variety of kitchen equipment (mixers, food processor, slicer, oven, fryer commercial dishwasher, range, steam kettles and compartment steamers.
- Monitors meals, collects money, gives change and is accountable for POS transactions
- Inventories food, condiments and supplies
- Inspects food items and/or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity, quality and specifications of orders and complying with current health standards
- Stocks storeroom freezers and coolers with supplies when delivered from vendors or SNS \warehouse.
- Washes pots, pans, trays, dishes, silverware, serving utensils, etc.
- Cleans and maintains equipment storage, food preparation and serving areas to ensure meeting the requirements for sanitary conditions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Successful completion of drug screening and background check
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying objects
- Must be able to count, make change and basic math skills
Hours:
Monday - Friday with shifts beginning between 6:30 am and 8:00 am depending on the school assigned. Will be working 5.5 to 6 hours per day.
