Position Responsibilities

Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries.
-
Work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude

Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
-
Ensure accurate data is entered in EAM for Ology Bio and Government property.
-
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
-
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while complying to safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other applicable process and facility requirements.
-
Operation of warehouse equipment as necessary to complete required day to day operations; e.g. operation of forklifts, stock picker, drills, hammer, etc.

Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
-
Store materials in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and/or internal specification requirement.
-
Assist with continuous improvement of shipping and receiving operations to meet internal and external customer expectations.
-
Perform receipt, inspection, and labeling of incoming materials and equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
-
Packing and shipping of materials/equipment to specified locations in accordance with specified requirements.

Other responsibilities as determined appropriate by warehouse manager and/or company management

Must safely and properly handle materials/equipment in a manner so as to preserve the integrity of the material/equipment.

Perform basic problem solving and communicate issue(s) real time.

Adapt to a dynamic working environment, perform in cross-functional roles, work in various Team environments, and, when required, work individually with minimum management oversight.

Follow oral and written instructions.

Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tacks.

Follows established procedures on routine work, requires instruction only on new assignments.

Work Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with possible Saturday schedule
All employees are expected to adhere to the Quality Management System established in the Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and any other applicable regulations and standards to the duties within their role.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Experience in shipping and receiving operations.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
Must have a clear understanding of the importance with integrity and the ability to follow written instructions within a cGMP environment
Preferred Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Two years of experience in shipping and receiving operations.
-
Previous experience utilizing ERP systems.
-
Trained, certified or experience operating forklifts and any other warehouse equipment.
This position may also include the following conditions:

Handling, managing, disposing hazardous and non-hazardous waste (which can include: chemicals, universal, and e-waste, oil, aqueous wastewater, etc.), inclusive of exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Packaging, transporting, and shipping of infectious or potentially infectious substances.

Physical vibration.
-
Narrow aisles or passageways.

Use of personal protective equipment (which can include respirators, Personal Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR), gowns, gloves, face protection, other barrier equipment, etc.

Use of powered industrial lift equipment (once trained).

Noise exposure of over 85 decibels (enough noise to shout to be heard above ambient noise level).
