This position is at our Magnus Inc location where we have been the leading manufacturer of traction motor support bearings for the railroad industry. Since 1885, we have served locomotive manufacturers and repair shops with axle thrust bearings, locomotive journal bearings, thrust washers and other special bearings in high-leaded bronze. We supply customers across the globe from our plant and offices in Fremont, Nebraska.
Responsibilities / Job Duties:
We are looking to hire a Production Worker who can produce high quality parts to be used in the Railroad industry.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure production volume and quality requirements are met.
- Ability to change duties throughout the day.
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Work independently and/or as a team member taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Previous manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
· Someone who is comfortable in a manufacturing environment with hot temperatures, noise/vibrations, fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and a physical.
Open Schedule(s):
· 1st shift working 4 10s: Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm.
Pay: $21 per hour
