THE POSITION
This position will be responsible for performing facilities maintenance, basic mechanical and electrical repairs, coordinating with contractors, managing the work order system, and maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs on facility equipment and systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage the work order system and prioritize tasks and projects.
- Coordinate with contractors for larger repairs and projects.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Ensure proper maintenance and storage of tools and equipment.
- Order and replenish maintenance supplies as needed.
- Maintain the grounds of the facility, including landscaping and snow removal.
Normal work hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
May require work outside regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus.
- Experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Physical ability for manual labor, including walking, standing, lifting and climbing.
