**Job Summary:**

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, including taking vital signs and performing procedures as needed.
- Prepare patients for exams, treatments, and tests, including drawing blood and performing phlebotomy.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV medications, under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
- Conduct routine medical coding and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with emergency situations, such as those requiring emergency medication administration.
- Provide patients with information and education about their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
**Experience:**
- Must be certified as a medical assistant .
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in an family medicine or internal medicine department.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Experience with medication administration, including IV medications and emergency medication administration.
- Familiarity with medical coding and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment.
