Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This is a contractor position, offering you the flexibility to create your own schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience with Gusto management and have knowledge about various HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruitment tasks for U.S. employees, including talent search, interviews, salary negotiation, hiring, onboarding follow-up, etc.;
- Handle the application and payment of social insurances such as medical insurance and workers' compensation for U.S. employees; if there is a change in the work location of current employees, promptly update the information in the GUSTO system and coordinate the registration and deregistration of Payroll/Franchise tax in the transfer and receiving states;
- Collaborate with business departments on performance evaluations, training, and labor relations for overseas employees;
- Implement company HR policies, procedures, and systems overseas to improve the operational efficiency of overseas departments;
- Manage monthly salary expenses applications for U.S. employees in Lark, and input and distribute salaries on platforms such as GUSTO/UPWORK;
- Provide annual/monthly payroll summary data according to tax requirements.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of work experience;
- Proficient in both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate in Chinese preferred;
- Proactive work attitude, good learning ability, and interpersonal skills;
- Familiar with HR recruitment, salary calculation, and handling various social insurances for employees;
- Familiar with HR policies and laws in various U.S. states.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 28 per week
