We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Representative who will be responsible for prospecting, calling and qualifying leads, and generating prospect lists. Candidate must have a strong work ethic with a proactive mindset to coordinate sales calls for our portfolio of technology companies. SBDRs play an essential and critical role in laying the foundation for successful sales outcomes and fueling the growth and expansion of our portfolio companies within the real estate and construction industry. We are looking for those who have a hunter mentality and want to learn, develop, and master their cold calling and business generations skillsets.

Job Description:
An SBDR plays a crucial role in a tech company in a growth phase. Their primary responsibility is to generate and qualify leads to create a robust pipeline for the sales team. Here's an overview of the role of an SBDR in this context:
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing cold calling techniques to directly engage and foster meaningful connections with C-level executives within the real estate industry, including landlords, GCs, and other key stakeholders
- The individual will develop and curate lead lists to drive lead generation efforts
- Qualify leads in order to understand if they are compatible with the technologies FTPT sells
- Effectively and convincingly educate prospects on FTPT’s portfolio companies
- Orchestrate the conversion of leads into demos with our technology companies
- Cultivation and nurturing of long-term relationships with clients and prospects
- Collaboration with the Sales Team to align strategies, share insights, and maximize opportunities for business growth
- Proactive management of the sales pipeline
- Perform thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities
- Participate in industry events and networking activities to help spread brand awareness
- Continuously refine and optimize sales strategies, methodologies, and processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or business development is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate and persuade effectively
- Knowledge of technical sales concepts is a plus
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a strong drive for success
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
