Simple Laboratories is looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist with focus on recruiting and ATS Management. The Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to the VP of Human Resources, provides full cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts in support of Simple Laboratories growth strategy, including providing general support to new talent development and retention initiatives. This position also supports and manages the company’s applicant tracking system (ATS). The ideal candidate exemplifies teamwork and collaboration in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
Talent Acquisition Specialist – Recruiting and ATS Management
Responsibilities
- Work closely with all levels of management on all hiring requests to establish targeted scope for posting and sourcing.
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs as available.
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately, including participating in new hire orientation.
- Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements.
- Provide timely feedback to management about details regarding candidates and pipeline.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for management reference or ad hoc reporting.
- Create a great experience for all candidates by maintaining relationships and communicating regularly.
- Other talent acquisition or related general projects as needed.
Qualifications for Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous recruiting experience and assisting with onboarding processes.
- Proven record in a competitive, fast-paced environment, including associated high-volume recruitment.
- Strong people skills and ability to communicate professionally, along with demonstrating behaviors of teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company, including its mission and vision, and confidently address any questions a potential hire may have.
- Proficient in using the company’s Microsoft suite tools and systems for internal and external communications and recruiting efforts.
