This role will be pivotal in lifting up the data analytics team and improving processes. It will also be a key position for a new project. Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced understanding of technical principles to design and implement various data warehousing and integration projects.
- Create, develop, and maintain precise and timely data models to satisfy business requirements.
- Develop and sustain scalable integration workflows and ELT tasks linking internal business applications.
- Work closely with application development teams to design and implement integrations that ensure data integrity.
- Engage in the collection and refinement of project requirements with product managers and business stakeholders.
- Manage deployments and support projects post-release in a production environment.
- Suggest new practices, processes, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Review and approve changes to models and code.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends.
- Assess frameworks, technologies, platforms, and tool solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience in contributing to and supporting highly available, scalable data systems.
- In-depth experience in relational database design, implementation, and performance tuning optimization for MS SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Strong experience in developing both OLAP and OLTP Data Platforms.
- Experience in writing data pipelines and tools using Python or similar languages.
- Experience in integrating with Relational Databases, HTTP APIs, File Systems, and SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, (or other) Data Warehousing solutions.
- Proficiency with AWS or other contemporary cloud hosting platforms.
- Competence in at least one major programming language and API framework.
- Experience with Apache Airflow is an advantage.
- Familiarity with iPaaS solutions such as Dell Boomi, Adeptia, etc. is beneficial.
- Experience integrating with ERP Systems, Salesforce, and/or Tableau is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker, Redis, and CI/CD Pipelines is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
