Job Title: Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This role requires a strong understanding of medication administration, resident rights, social work, and behavior management.
Duties:
- Monitor medications following prescribed guidelines and protocols
- Uphold resident rights and ensure their well-being and safety
- Utilize social work skills to interact effectively with residents and their families
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in medication administration and adherence to regulations
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for individuals in your care
- Familiarity with social work principles and effective communication techniques
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and apply appropriate interventions
- Experience in assisting with ADLs
- Understanding of working with people with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in meal preparation following dietary guidelines
- Compassionate attitude towards providing nursing home care

Pay: $20.09 - $24.19 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
