Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Support Technician:
The End User Support Technician will specialize in new laptop/desktop preparation and deployments. Ability to configure various software packages to users required specifications and then execute new and replacement deployments will be required. The End User Support Technician will assist the End User Experience Team in maintaining sufficient inventory by performing desktop imaging and hardware maintenance as required. They will track and monitor inventory issues to ensure hardware orders are submitted in a timely fashion. While adhering to all organization specified cyber security guidelines, End User Support Technician often assists all Desktop Support related projects and ensures resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, and identifies and resolves technical problems within scope of projects. Proficiency with Office365 products is required, experience with O365 GCC High is a plus.
Required Skills for the Support Technician:
- Bachelors Degree + 1 year experience (or internship) experience in a level 1 Help Desk role OR No degree + 3 years' experience in a Help Desk role
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Active Directory to perform technical duties that include software installs on new and replacement equipment while ensuring data transfer is required.
- Must be comfortable in both office and shop floor environments and adhere to all safety guidelines as set forth by the organization.
