Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and network to generate new business leads and opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.
- Present and promote Safe Site Utility Services' products and services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet customer requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and technologies relevant to our services.
- Represent Safe Site Utility Services at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Continuously strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the construction, utilities, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of Hydro-Excavation, Utility Locating, and/or Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which includes MVR history, and drug test.
