Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, External Communications!
This individual will work across Genpact to amplify and cocreate an impactful external communications program. They will work cross-functionally to establish and execute a strategic external communications strategy, to underscore Genpact’s world-class brand position and contribute to the company’s global thought leadership.
This individual will work closely with Genpact’s senior executives to identify and craft relevant thought leadership to position the company as an expert in its chosen business areas. This role will identify creative ways to address relevant topics, and collaborate across Internal Communications, social media, Events, Editorial, and other functions to ensure we maximize impact in the press.
Given this role requires collaboration with these functions, particularly external press, and existing PR firms, the role will be in the US.
- Partner with Genpact leadership to shape and execute the global external communications program and lead with the appropriate communications strategies to deliver growth objectives and build Genpact’s reputation and employer brand globally.
- Plan and manage the calendar of external communications to ensure timely and effective dissemination of key messages.
- Partner with subject matter experts within Genpact to create compelling messaging that can be used in communication campaigns across regions.
- Develop end to end media relations campaigns and drive execution excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, influencers, and key external stakeholders to enhance corporate visibility and thought leadership.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requestsand prepare executive team members for press interviews.
- Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, and other departments to ensure message consistency and coherence across all external communications.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of external communication campaigns and strategies, adapting plans as necessary to meet company objectives.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in communication strategies.
- Foster collaboration across departments and global teams to drive a unified communication strategy.
- Team with business and vertical/service line teams to align and create PR strategies to demonstrate Genpact’s capabilities across target buyers through relevant media.
- Act as the keeper of corporate facts and stats needed for communications, manage a new newsroom, and manage a monthly newscast.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Relevant years' experience in Communications
- Formidable leadership, outstanding written and oral communications skills, coordination, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Capable of working across complex organizations and environments prone to regular change
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively between different disciplines and have an elevated level of executive presence.

- Fast paced, with capability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use creative thinking to identify and solve problems.
- Experience in driving external communications for large global organizations.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
