Candidate Experience

Schedule all candidate interviews; including onsite, in satellite offices, or via Zoom video.

Coordinate all candidate area visits with careful consideration of the candidate and their family’s needs; educate candidates on area schools arranging visits, if necessary, entity initiatives, and community amenities

Coordinate all real estate tours per the candidates’ interests, requests, and needs.

Coordinate all candidate travel and manage external vendors.

Manage and reconcile all candidates’ expenses to ensure prompt reimbursement.

Conduct phone screens, screening for skills, reservations, and culture.

Conduct reference checks for candidates in the final round of interviews.

Draft offer letters for Walton Enterprises, Walton Family Foundation, and all related entities ensuring the proper approval process has been met.

Route all offer letters and non-disclosure agreements to designated parties; maintain documentation and records.

Assist in the coordinating and execution of the new associate welcome lunch, Walton Welcome, and other related onboarding activities.
HR Process Management

Complete and process all new hire paperwork in compliance with state and federal laws.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with POCs in each office to ensure the completion of new hire paperwork.

Educate POCs on new hire paperwork rules and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Create and maintain associate records; ensure personal records meet legal compliance requirements; process improvement opportunities; serving as a subject matter expert and user acceptance tester for HR systems implementation; and evaluating and providing feedback on HR technologies and applications.

Assist related entities with employee record audits and best practices.

Maintain information security and confidentiality.

Secure appropriate building access for new associates

Process all agency and vendor invoices; serve as a POC for the accounts payable department.

Coordinate with the information technology team to order hardware and software for new associates; schedule all IT walkthroughs; ensure the effective set-up of new associate workstations and communicate user issues with IT if needed.

Complete all pre-hire contingencies within compliance with company policies.
Communications & Public Relations

Share Walton Enterprises brand, culture, and values with all candidates and external parties.

Educate candidates on Walton Enterprises policies and process through concise communication.

Provide documentation and collateral that is consistent with the Walton Enterprises and department brand.

Communicate recruiting and Human Resources service offerings to internal stakeholders, external collaborators, and all entities within the Walton ecosystem.

Serve as a POC and liaison for all entity associates; facilitate introductions and meetings.

Communicate Walton Enterprises shared value statements in all interview questions, guides, and evaluations methods.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including but not limited to related entities, Walton 5&10, real estate companies, and local tourism offices.

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers and support staff, providing guidance on recruiting, HR, and onboarding best practices.

Deliver branded itineraries to each candidate in preparation for their interview.
Project Management

Create and distribute surveys to effectively evaluate the candidate’s experience; summarize and synthesize data for leaders.

Reconcile department expense statements; work with external partners to ensure proper documentation.

Draft and maintain library of company job descriptions, serving as a POC for the Benefits team and Total Rewards Manager

Create and implement onboarding processes for Walton Enterprises and related entities; share process maps with stakeholders; identify improvement opportunities.

Update and maintain Talent Acquisition Activity report, Year-to-Date Fills report, and related reports; communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to company leaders and business partners.

Develop regular and ad-hoc reports, including spreadsheets, charts, presentations.

- Demonstrated relevant project management experience.
