Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter data into Cargowise and internet platforms.
- Collect and analyze data to optimize logistics processes
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues.
- Manage and handle documents accurately and efficiently.
- Read, write, and respond to emails promptly using Outlook.
- Utilize Excel and Adobe for various tasks.
- Collaborate with agents, airlines, ocean carriers, brokers, and direct customers.
- Negotiate prices with carriers.
- Demonstrate excellent multitasking skills and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and respond to emails on the same day.
- Ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence and shipment processing daily.
- Good work ethic and efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- At least 1 year of college education is ideal.
