Biodex Rehab is a wholly owned subsidiary of Evome Medical Tecnologies Inc, which has been operating in rehabilitation, medical device manufacturing, and engineering space for more than 60 years.
We are a leading Physical Therapy Rehabilitation/Capital Equipment company. Our customers include Hospitals, Academic Research Professionals, Professional/College/High School sports teams, LTC organizations and Private Practice Physical Therapy clinics. Our mission is to assist Physical Therapists in getting their patients back to work and back to competition. We are seeking a competitive business development professional to open new opportunities for our best in class and most researched medical device equipment. Our Dealers (distributors)salary range is not capped and can vary from $150,000 to $250,000 annually. This means that there is no upper limit, and compensation can go beyond the specified range based on factors such as experience, performance, and market conditions. The California territory already has existing business in it that you will be walking into, and we want a true hunter who can come in and take it to new heights!
Job Requirements
1) Capital Equipment Sales or Physical Therapy experience (a must)
2) Experienced business prospector (HUNTER)
3) Flexibility to pivot between institutional, national, and small business accounts.
4) Experience selling into PT private practices (nice to have)
5) LTC selling experience (nice to have)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Call on existing customers and potential customers in assigned territory to promote, sell and support physical medicine product line.
2. Follow-up on all prospective leads.
3. Develop systematic methods of finding prospective leads and make follow-up calls in line with established policies and report on all prospective contacts.
4. Effectively learn, use, and support CRM software by keeping all customer records current and accurate. Knowledge of SalesForce is a plus.
5. Maintain expense records and submit expense reports in accordance with established procedures. Keep expenses in line with company policy and good business practices.
6. Provide product installation and in-service when required.
7. Keep Biodex’s office regularly advised of competitive activities; including prices, promotional activity, sales effort, products, product claims and sales techniques.
8. Forward suggestions for possible new products to the home office.
9. Attend regional or national meetings and conventions as directed.
10. Take orders and keep daily call log on activity.
11. Work closely with inside sales specialist for assigned territory.
12. Learn product and program features, benefits and how each product is used in a clinical setting.
13. Travelling with and safely loading/unloading products into vehicles for frequent demonstration / presentation purposes with products of varying sizes and weights.
Skills requirements/Education
Outside capital equipment sales experience and bachelor’s degree, or Physical Therapy degree. Business acumen to effectively communicate with a sophisticated customer base. Ability to operate and manage an exclusive territory, manage customer service-related issues, and effectively and routinely communicate with an existing customer base while establishing new customer relationships through proactive outreach and market penetration.
