POSITION: Spa Concierge
DEPARTMENT: Front Office
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting patients upon arrival at the office and coordinating their visit with appropriate staff members in an efficient and pleasant manner; also provides effective communication with patients calling by telephone.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in a similar capacity involving direct communication with the public, preferably in a medical or retail setting.
2. High school graduate.
3. Experience answering calls in a pleasant and professional manner.

3. Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations.

7. Must maintain professional appearance and adhere to office policy regarding dress codes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Office Concierge : Greets each clients warmly upon arrival, determines needs, and ensures efficient transfer of care to other staff members as appropriate. Ensuring the completion of all necessary forms and consents. Educate clients waiting on spa procedures, services, specials and memberships.
2. Confirmation of Patient Information: Confirms with each client upon each visit that client information on file with the practice is accurate and up-to-date.
Accurately records updates and corrections as needed.
3. Monitoring of Waiting Room: Regularly checks clients in the waiting room to ensure each is comfortable. Reassures those patients subject to excessive waits and informs clinical staff of status as needed.
4. Telephone Calls: Serves as primary individual responsible for answering telephone calls to the practice. Greets each patient warmly, listens carefully, then directs the call appropriately.
5. Clerical Duties: Provides assistance in medical chart preparation and maintenance, scheduling, data entry, and other tasks as required.
6. Other Duties: Performs other duties and assumes various responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.

Our busy medical spa is looking to add an experienced Spa Concierge to our team!
Our ideal candidate has customer service experience, preferably in a client facing environment, has experience answering and directing phone calls, and has a love for beauty and spa procedures. Our team is full of passionate, happy, energetic individuals and we are looking for our next great addition. Our spas number one priority is client experience, anything less than amazing is unacceptable. We are looking for someone LONG TERM - you will be required to sign a two year commitment contract. We are looking for part time, most likely Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays. Our business hours are 8:30-6, Saturdays 8:30-2pm. This position has the potential to grow to full-time.
