Functions and Responsibilities
- Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Provides home health aide services and preventive procedures as assigned.
- Teaches and counsels the patient and family/significant others regarding the care needs and other related problems of the patient at home.
- Maintains accurate and complete records of observations, treatments and care of patient.
- Attends staff meetings and in-services as scheduled.
- Assists the patient/family in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) year experience as a Home Health Aide and currently holding active certification for HHA.
- Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Home Health agency.
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment with excellent communication skills.
- Completion of a Hospice training program prior to providing care.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
