QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field
- Experience with developing and/or testing applications is expected
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- To troubleshoot tests, it would be beneficial to understand the underlying code. Thus familiarity with both front-end and back-end code is preferred for candidates. Especially a familiarity with: Vue.js (and the Vue ecosystem), Node, Postgres, npm, and Vite.
- Proficiency in various automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, Postman, etc.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time

What will you be doing?
A Software Developer in Test is a role that is the equivalent of a mid-level software
engineer that mixes software development with automated testing and some aspects of
quality assurance. As an SDT you will have a key role in ensuring the automated testing
platform for both our client and server applications is optimized, ensuring the quality of
our applications and the success of the entire agile team.
This role requires a flexible mindset, as the SDT will need to be able to quickly adapt to
new technologies, methodologies, and changes in the project requirements or team
environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, always looking for
ways to improve the testing process and the quality of the software products. They will be
a team player, able to effectively communicate and collaborate with others to achieve the
team's goals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshooting and Improving Tests: If errors occur in the automated testing
software code, the SDT corrects the errors to improve the test's performance and may
adjust the application code as well. They may improve existing testing automation or
design more efficient testing.

Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain code and automated tests to validate
the functionality, performance, and scalability of our software applications. Proficiency
in various automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, Postman,
etc.
Quality Assurance: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to
ensure the delivery of quality software products.
