Overview:
We are searching for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our growing team as a Business Development Manager. This position will oversee and lead a team of BDRs who are instrumental in prospecting leads and driving sales growth for our organization. The BDR Manager's primary objective is to guide, motivate, and train the team to achieve their goals in alignment with our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and recruit talented outbound sales development representatives targeting SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise level prospects, fostering their professional growth and performance.
- Manage team operations, utilizing key metrics to inform decision-making and enhance team effectiveness.
- Cultivate a high-performance, accountable culture that consistently exceeds sales development goals.
- Analyze sales team metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to deploy effective prospecting strategies.
- Ensure seamless alignment with sales leadership to meet objectives comprehensively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased efficiency, and productivity, offering valuable recommendations.
- Exemplify and promote company culture, fostering strong engagement among sales employees.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance sales development performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
- Proven track record of success as a business development or sales manager, with experience overseeing and developing teams for at least 2+ years.
- Previous experience in a high-growth technology company, focusing on enterprise-level prospects, preferably in the SaaS domain.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce (required).
- Proficiency in devising and executing comprehensive outbound sales development strategies, including playbooks, cadences, and industry best practices.
- Ability to scale inside sales teams, strategize career paths, design compensation plans, and effectively segment the team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong sales capabilities and a goal-oriented approach to inspire and guide BDRs.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of independently building and executing effective playbooks.
- Deep understanding of organizational goals and the ability to identify critical areas for continuous progress and growth.
- Proficiency in developing and executing effective account-based strategies aligned with sales and marketing objectives, along with coaching BDRs on account-based selling techniques and personalized outreach.
- Ability to develop and implement net new lead strategies and campaigns to attract leads and expand the sales pipeline, while providing training, guidance, and resources to enhance BDRs' lead generation skills.

Working Environment/Compensation:
Monday – Friday
6:00 am to 3:00 pm* (*tentative, may be required to work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm – dependent on the department's needs)
$80K - $90K (*DOE)
up to $48K (*dependent on team’s performance)
up to $138K
