Our team at Helping Hands ABA offers continuous one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) instruction for individuals on the Autism Spectrum in the home-based setting. Our treatment plans and goals are structured on individual needs and care. We believe in the importance of trauma-informed client centered instruction. We work hand in hand with caregivers to provide support and instruction that fits into their family systems and takes into consideration the family dynamic and culture.
At Helping Hands ABA, we are accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, which recognizes our services meeting their standards in treatment quality and business professionalism. Our connection with BHCOE allows for our Behavioral Technicians and Behavior Analysts to have continual access to training and education that will prosper their way of instructing clients and working with families.
Helping Hands ABA, P.C. is looking for RBT's to work in-home!
We are a dynamic behavioral health agency looking for Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-to-one with a child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Brooklyn area. If you do not have an RBT certification, still apply!
Required Degrees/Certifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, education, etc.) is preferred
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); or willingness to participate in our ABA training course
Skills:
- Experience with Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); and the implementation of behavioral support plans (preferred)
- Experience working with parents
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
