PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a director of information technology for our Columbus Health Centers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Communicate with staff to understand and resolve technology problems, escalating when necessary.
Maintains an accurate and detailed inventory of all computer hardware and software within the organization.
Manages and supervises the IS department through coordination of all activities conducted by the department.
Consults and advises with management staff on the IS hardware, software and report needs and requirements for the various operations and departments, applying knowledge of systems capacity to determine the feasibility of projects
Interfaces with appropriate system vendors to coordinate collaborative IS logistics and operations.
Oversee and direct server maintenance, disaster recovery planning, system administration, user administration, and user support.
Develop and propose annual IT budget.
Recommends and implements organizational technology initiatives and improvements, including hardware, software, data and process improvements.
Keep accurate records or reports as needed to reflect department activity.
Travel to and from Health Centers as needed for support or projects.
Troubleshoot problems related to peripherals, thin clients, workstations, pda’s, laptops, a/v equipment, MS Office applications, various MS Windows O/S, and other common business applications such as anti-virus or Adobe apps.
Support telecommunications devices (analog, digital, IP and cellular) up to and including configuration of devices on phone system software.
Complete basic IT projects as assigned such as wiring installation, AV for events, or evaluating products.
Carry a company cell phone and respond to emergency situations that may require before hours or after hours’ time commitments on little or no notice.
Moderate travel required.
Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Successful candidates must posses a bachelor’s degree in computer related field and 5 years experience in Help Desk environment; or Master’s Degree in computer related field.
Experience: 5-years experience in Help Desk Environment, preferably in health care setting
Employment with PrimaryOne Health is contingent on new hires completing full COVID-19 vaccination within 45 days of start date to maintain employment (unless you request and receive an exemption)
