Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to project closeout.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
- Identify and manage potential cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
