Overview:
Align Social Impact is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Event Producer to join the New York team's growing social impact practice. Align is a full-service impact agency at the nexus of storytelling, research, philanthropy, culture and systems change, and we specialize in serving brand, nonprofit, talent and foundation clients worldwide to accelerate their impact in ways that can be felt and measured. As an Event Producer, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing impactful events that support our mission of driving community, business, and social outcomes. You will work closely with our team to understand event objectives, develop creative concepts, and manage all aspects of event production.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Align team to understand event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes

Develop event concepts, themes, and formats that align with the mission, vision, and values Align

Plan and manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and timeline development

Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of events

Oversee event marketing and promotion, including creating event collateral, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating with the communications team

Manage event registration and attendee management, including ticketing, RSVPs, and guest lists
-
Coordinate event staffing, including hiring and managing event staff, volunteers, and contractors

Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure event success and identify areas for improvement

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event production and management
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
-
Proven experience as an Event Producer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully executing a variety of high-profile events, preferably in the nonprofit and social impact sector and with celebrity talent or major brands

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in event management software and tools

Knowledge of event marketing and promotion strategies

Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
