Responsibilities:
- Maintain and aid in the establishment of quality and reliability standards by studying product and customer requirements with production operators, technicians, and engineers.
- Act as the “Voice of the Customer” by establishing ownership of the effectiveness of manufacturing controls and inspection methods and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Lead problem-solving activities using established methods including 5-why and other root cause analysis methods and 8D.
- Assist product launch teams in supporting APQP processes including PPAP.
- Maintain and aid in the establishment of raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements; conferring and negotiating with suppliers; devising and conducting test methods and procedures.
- Establish and maintain in-process product condition by studying manufacturing methods; devising testing and inspection methods; conducting inspections and physical tests; creating control plans and visual aids; training operations personnel; auditing for conformance.
- Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain and aid in the establishment of quality assurance operations and systems by writing, assisting, and following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Prepare and present data by developing computer databases; analyzing and interpreting data; applying statistical techniques.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Maintain a safe environment by complying with ATS safety policies; identifying potential safety nonconformances; complying with housekeeping goals.
- Contribute to team effort by participating in project teams and accomplishing related results as needed.
Education and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science-related field.
- Proficient in GR&R.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methods including SPC.
- Experience with ISO/TS16949 quality management systems.

Pay: $60,237.00 - $72,543.48 per year
