Chesaco RV is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join our team. The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for managing warranty claims for all new and used RVs sold by the dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience working with RV warranties and be able to manage claims in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
● Manage all warranty claims for RVs sold by the dealership, including submitting claims, tracking claims, and following up on outstanding claims.
● Verify that all warranty claims are eligible for reimbursement and that the necessary documentation is included.
● Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve warranty issues and ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner.
● Coordinate with the service department to ensure that all necessary repairs and parts are covered under warranty.
● Update and maintain warranty records and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.
● Monitor warranty claim expenses and report on warranty-related metrics to management.
● Ensure that all warranty work is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
● Collaborate with the finance department to ensure that all warranty claims are accurately reflected in the dealership's financial statements.
● Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● At least 2 years of experience in warranty administration/title clerk work in the RV industry.
● Knowledge of RV warranties and manufacturer guidelines.
● Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, and service department personnel.
● Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
