Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all front of house operations, including customer service, food service, and bar service
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize revenue
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar area, and restrooms
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as utensils, glassware, and linens, and place orders as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service management or restaurant management is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation guidelines, and food handling safety protocols
- Experience in catering or event planning is a plus
- Bartending experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
