Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment for our General Dental Office. This role offers the opportunity to work with patients to coordinate dental procedures, as well as dental insurance companies to ensure that our patients have a good experience at our office. Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to understand their oral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and manage claims in a managed care setting.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and assistants, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental office or medical office environment.
- Must have a dental background, but willing to train to understand the daily operations of our office.
- Familiarity with managed care and some experience with insurance verification and claims management, if possible.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Experience working with electronic medical/dental records and a willingness to learn new software, (but not required).
Skills:
- Experience working in a dental office or medical office environment.
- Familiarity with managed care and experience with insurance verification and claims management, (not required).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.44 - $24.62 per hour
