We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Account Manager with a strong background in hospitality and lifestyle to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring established media relationships, a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns within the hospitality industry. As the PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering media relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of PR strategies for our hospitality clients.
Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for hospitality and lifestyle clients, understanding their goals, objectives, and unique brand positioning.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth.
Strategic Planning:
- Create comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the client's business objectives, emphasizing brand visibility, reputation management, and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with clients to develop key messaging and brand narratives that resonate with target audiences.
Media Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
- Pitch compelling stories, press releases, and media kits to secure positive media coverage for clients
- Secure media interviews for feature stories
Campaign Execution:
- Lead the execution of PR campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless implementation.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Event Management:
- Conceptualize and coordinate impactful events, press conferences, and product launches for hospitality clients.
- Manage logistics, invitations, and media outreach for events.
Content Creation:
- Oversee the development of engaging and shareable content, including press materials, blog posts, and social media updates.
- Ensure all content aligns with clients' brand voice and messaging.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PR Account Manager, focusing on hospitality and lifestyle clients.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in media monitoring tools, PR software, and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Must be located in New York City
