Experienced Maintenance Technician
1. Multifamily Experience
- Experience in multifamily property maintenance is preferred
- Have a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of managing and maintaining residential buildings.
2. Basic Maintenance Knowledge
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of various maintenance areas relevant to multifamily properties, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, landscaping, and general repairs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
3. Preventive Maintenance
- Well-versed in implementing preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Experienced in developing and following maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and systems.
4. Tenant Communication and Customer Service
- Skilled in communicating effectively with tenants, addressing maintenance requests, and ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of issues.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle tenant inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
5. Regulatory Compliance
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and other compliance requirements relevant to multifamily properties.
- Able to ensure that maintenance activities and property operations align with all applicable regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant environment for residents.
6. Organization and Documentation
- Highly organized with strong documentation skills. Proficient in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and warranties.
- Skilled in using maintenance management systems and software to streamline operations and track maintenance history.
7. Emergency Response and Crisis Management
- Able to effectively respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, water leaks, or natural disasters, and implement appropriate emergency protocols.
- Experienced in coordinating with relevant authorities, communicating with residents, and ensuring the safety and security of the property.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
