The RNAC plans, directs, controls, coordinates and evaluates the various resident assessment processes to ensure compliance with Medicare, insurance and Medicaid billing. Ensures that facility optimizes reimbursement for the care and services provided to SNF Residents through appropriate coordination of the assessment process, documentation and accurate data entry.
Position available: Part-time
Required Attributes: Minimum of 2 two-year degree in nursing. BSN preferred. An active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Pennsylvania. A minimum of 3 (three) years of RNAC experience. A minimum of 5 (five) years of general nursing experience. Must be knowledgeable about the Resident Assessment process, including, but not limited to MDS, PPS, OBRA, OMRA, and ARD scheduling. Knowledge of ICD 10 coding. Must be able to perform the duties of this job with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to: Standing for up to 7 hours of 8 hours shift. Push, pull, tug, twist, bend, stoop and sit on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up to 50-100 lbs. with assistance.
