District Sales Manager (North Central US)

What You'll Do:
- Promote and sell our products to new and existing clients.
- Provide accurate forecasts for prototypes and production requirements.
- Conduct product training sessions for distributors.
- Gather and relay competitor information to the marketing and application departments.
- Prospect for potential clients within the assigned geographic territory.
- Investigate and study new market opportunities.
- Collaborate with application engineers and ensure follow-through with the engineering department.
- Prepare quotes for products in accordance with company guidelines.
- Generate timely and detailed reports to communicate client activity to all relevant parties within PH.
- Support clients and distributors in other territories when the responsible salesperson is unavailable.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and prospects.
- Assist in production scheduling to bridge the gap between clients and PH material control personnel.
- Ensure profitability and meet gross margin objectives for clients.
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements efficiently to optimize time and company expenses.
- Provide support and backup for inside sales personnel.
- Assist in the training of new personnel.
- Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the manager.
What Makes You a Good Fit:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Fluid Power.
- Prior experience handling accounts for large OEM equipment manufacturers in the construction, AG, and material handling markets
- Proven ability to manage and cover a sales territory effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in general negotiation, pricing, and sales techniques
