Position: UX Designer & PHP Developer
Project Overview:
The Department of Aviation is seeking a skilled and experienced UX Designer with proficiency in PHP development to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of ATL.com and Next.Atl.com websites. The goal is to modernize the existing websites and ensure they meet ADA compliance standards, while integrating custom functionalities and security measures.
Duration: 90 Days
Scope of Work:
Discovery Phase:
- Conduct meetings with technical staff to gather requirements.
- Review and confirm target audience and user personas.
Design Phase:
- Develop wireframes and mockups based on requirements.
- Present design concepts to the client for feedback and revisions.
- Finalize design incorporating style guides, branding, and ADA compliance features.
Development Phase:
- Create website architecture and navigation structure.
- Implement responsive design for optimal viewing across devices.
- Integrate WordPress plugins and widgets.
- Develop custom functionalities as per client requirements.
- Implement security measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Content Management:
- Implement a user-friendly content management system (CMS).
System Testing:
- Perform thorough testing for functionality and compatibility.
- Address and fix any identified bugs or issues.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and remediate vulnerabilities accordingly.
Timeline: Project completion expected within 90 days.
Communication: Regular updates through AIS Project Manager with scheduled meetings.
Additional Notes:
- Ensure ADA and LED compliance.
- Incorporate ATL branding, logo, and design style guidelines.
- Target pages for design creation will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $37.00 per hour
