Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to work in our ASD kindergarten classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong background in curriculum development and classroom management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student learning and development
- Utilize behavioral health strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Conduct early intervention activities to support students' academic and social-emotional growth
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or kindergarten setting
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques
- Experience tutoring or providing academic support to young learners
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with educational technology tools for instruction
