RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a financial analyst to support the needs of a real estate client located in the Greater Washington DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of commercial real estate assets, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain detailed financial models for property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and capital projects; Provide accurate and timely forecasts and variance analysis
- Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management and investors, highlighting key metrics and insights
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to support investment decisions; Monitor industry trends and economic indicators relevant to commercial real estate
- Asset Valuation: Assist in the valuation of assets within the portfolio, utilizing various valuation methods and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Budgeting & Planning: Support the annual budgeting process, including preparation of budget templates, data collection, and analysis; Monitor and report on budget performance
- Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence for potential acquisitions and dispositions, including financial analysis, property inspections, and coordination with external consultants
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with asset managers, property managers, and other internal teams to gather information, analyze data, and provide actionable insights
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred
- Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the commercial real estate industry
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with real estate financial software (e.g., Argus, Yardi)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Knowledge of commercial real estate markets and trends
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
