Duties:
- Respond to calls and complaints regarding animal-related issues
- Capture and safely handle animals, including domestic pets and wildlife
- Enforce local animal control ordinances and regulations
- Investigate cases of animal cruelty or neglect
- Provide education and outreach to the community on responsible pet ownership
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and incidents
- Assist with the transport and relocation of animals as necessary
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid certificate in Animal Control or related field
- Experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is preferred
- Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
