We are looking for an outgoing, competent, and organized assistant with some experience. Applicant needs to be confident to engage with patients, a self-starter when it is appropriate and willing to learn new procedures. We are a congenial PPO and fee for service dental practice
Basic Responsibilities
- Welcome, seat and prepare patients in the operatory
- Prepare instrument set ups
- Room clean up and disinfection using Universal and Covid precautions
- Instrument sterilization
- Four handed dentistry
- Lab tasks such as pouring models
Skill Set
- Some front desk duties such as scheduling patients;
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good computer skills: knowledge of Easy Dental would be helpful
- Resume of experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Take digital x-rays; scan cases with a 3 Shape scanner
- Willing to bleach patients; learn to make appliances and templates with the Great Lakes Mini Star
- Committed to observing all necessary health & safety regulations
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work responsibilities
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma: graduating from dental assistant school is preferred but not essential.
Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set.
